TAPETES

Our Double Superior Tapetes pay homage to rugs (tapetes in Portuguese), a characteristic product of the Asian continent.

In our Torel 1884 Suites & Apartments, tapestries are represented in one of our suites, where minimalist colors predominate – white, beige, and black.

The highlight of this room is the William Morris armchair, in dark gray tones, but with green and yellow details, which end up adding some color to the room.

A rug or carpet is a thick fabric, often embroidered, whose purpose is to beautify, cover, and protect floors.

There are several types of rugs that we can find on the market.

Until the mid-17th century, Asian rugs were considered very precious, being used as a currency of exchange and inheritance. Its value was such that they were hung on the walls as decoration (so valuable that they should not go to the floor). The legend dictates that it could even fly.
